Description
Victoria Falls Holiday Home is a wonderfully spacious self-catering home with a modern African design. Nestled amongst majestic teak trees on a quiet road on the outskirts, but still close enough to hear the rumble of Victoria Falls in the early morning.
The home provides cosy, comfortable and private accommodation that has two bedrooms, both ensuite, as well as mosquito nets and air- conditioning for your convenience. An additional single sofa bed and fold-out bed are available on request.
The Kitchen, Dining and Lounge area are open plan perfect for the family to get together and enjoy each others company, watch netflix, catch up on sports or browse the internet.
A lovely verandah stretches along the front, framed by a beautiful garden and plunge pool to cool off, relax and enjoy the peaceful sanctuary of your own space or use it as a base to explore the area with its many great activities to offer.
The home has an entrance gate with secure outdoor parking area, enough for two vehicles. Guests will have access to the whole house. There is an inter-leading gate where your hosts reside if you have any questions or concerns.

We have a great quiet neighbourhood with a small convenience store and café 450 meters away. You wake up to the sounds of Victoria Falls in the early mornings. Sometimes, you will have the occasional wild animal just outside the gate, either a herd of elephants, buffalo or even a family of warthogs passing by.
We about 15 min walk to town, or a short taxi ride which cost $5 per taxi, where you will find some great restaurants, bars and shops.
Tourist Tax: For each day of stay in Zimbabwe, you must pay a tourist tax. The amount of tourist tax in Zimbabwe, the fee is about 2 percent of your gross revenue of your accommodation. We will require details of your passport so we can ensure the tax is paid locally.
Electricity: Throughout Zimbabwe, there are frequent power cuts. Often these last for many hours during the day and into the evening; there is no published schedule of when these will happen, and we can't advise if you will be affected. We provide a solar system that powers the lights and fridges; the only thing affected is the oven, which draws too much power. In addition, there are a Gas Braai and a Gas hob.
