Overview
Springhide is a charming retreat set on 10 hectares of garden, offering stunning views of Nyanga Downs and accommodating up to 10 guests. The cottage features two queen bedrooms (one en-suite), a double/twin bedroom with extra beds for children, a mezzanine floor that sleeps 2-3, a tented room, and a cot.
Though primarily self-catering, guests can enjoy delicious dinners prepared by Rusiah and Simon while they unwind. The property starts at $80 per night for two people, with additional costs for extra guests. A backup generator ensures comfort during power cuts, though guests should bring their own petrol.
Springhide is ideally located for both relaxation and exploration, with access to nearby activities such as Nyanga National Park, pony trekking, golf, tennis, and visits to a local dairy. For an adventurous day trip, the new Skywalk and zipline on Mtarazi Falls are also nearby. A 4x4 vehicle is recommended for access.
Guests have exclusive use of the entire cottage, including all rooms. The property provides bed linen, towels, a cot, highchair, and a gas BBQ (braai) for their convenience.
