Overview
Rhino Safari Camp is a unique, owner-managed safari destination located on a private concession by Lake Kariba within Matusadona National Park, known for its big game. The camp offers an immersive wildlife experience with a focus on photography and outdoor adventure.
The main boma serves as the heart of the camp, featuring an open-sided platform to enjoy the lake breeze. It includes both upstairs and downstairs areas for dining and relaxation. The camp is unfenced, allowing wildlife to roam freely around the grounds and between the rooms.
Activities include game drives, boat cruises, bush walks, and hiking with professional guides. Downstairs, guests can enjoy a discreet bar, buffet area, and camp seating, while upstairs offers a comfortable living area with stunning views of the lake and wildlife.
The camp also provides reference books, traditional games, and all-day tea, coffee, and beverages in the boma.
